Bounty chocolate bar recipe that you can make at home
The goodness of chocolate combined with the flavor of coconut makes bounty bars the most favorite chocolate bar amongst people of all ages. You only need 3 simple ingredients to pull this off, All of these are easily available in any local grocery store. Your kids will love this for sure!
Follow this simple step-by-step instruction and make this popular chocolate bar at home with ease.
The process
In a clean bowl, take the desiccated coconut and add condensed milk to it. Slowly coat all the desiccated powder evenly with the milk
Using a spatula, mix both the ingredients till you get a sticky mixture. The key is to not add too much of condensed milk. Refer the image for consistency
Scoop some of this mixture out and shape them into bars using your hands. After shaping, put the bars on a tray and refrigerate for an hour.
Chop the chocolate into fine pieces and Melt your chocolate on a double boiler. Dunk the bars in the melted chocolate, making sure it’s coated properly on all sides. You can also put the bars on a wire rack and pour the melted chocolate on the bars
Let the excess chocolate drip and place the bars on a tray lined with parchment paper. Using a spoon, make three lines on top of the Chocolate bars. and Refrigerate for about an hour. Once done you can store this for over a month in the refrigerator and munch on it. These chocolate bars taste exactly like the real ones, In fact, they are much better than the real ones!
You can also add a small pinch of salt.
